American Idol News Top 36

This week starts the Hollywood round and while browsing the Internet I came across a list of the singers that are presumably the ones who make it to the top 36. This kind of information really annoys me, I hate people that post spoilers. What is the point of watching Hollywood week if you already know which ones will go on to the next round in which the viewers get to decide who will ultimately end up being our top 12 contestants.

Also the list states that there are 7 ringers, ones who in some way or form have either record contracts, Broadway experience or some kind of television background which will give them an edge in the competition. In one of my recent posts I had informed you of the news of Joanna Pacitti who has had her own albums, band and done Broadway as making it to Hollywood week and that I didn’t think it was fair that she made it because of her immediate edge that she would have over the other inexperienced contestants. Now after finding out that it is not only her but 6 others that have an upper hand on the competition really pushes my buttons to outright anger!

American Idol needs to keep the show to accommodate the inexperienced no name people who are looking for a break, not ones that already have had one. I am not going to reveal the list that I discovered but I will tell you the names of the other ringers who have made it to Hollywood.

Adam Lambert - Broadway performer at the Kodak Theater, Brent Keith - was on Nashville Star 2 and has videos airing on CMT, Kendal Beard - discovered by Grammy winning producer Jeffrey Weber in Los Angeles, Kristen McNamara - was on Nashville Star season 4, Mishavonna Henson - already signed with a record company called Redrum Productions and Taylor Vaifanua - she was a background dancer from High School Musical 2 and was on a local Utah tv show called Create the Group where she formed a singing group called 4 Real.

Be watching Hollywood week to see how these contestants perform and see if they make it to the top 36.
