Christina Talks

Well we now have our next 3 singers for our top 12 and we are half way there. Last night’s show went pretty much like I expected and 2 of the 3 that I chose to make it actually did, the 3rd one was a bit a of surprise to me. Of course the 16 year old redhead Allison made it and also Adam the punk rocker who sang his own rendition of Satisfaction by the Stones made it through.  Ryan had Megan Corkrey and Kris Allen standing up together and announced that 1 of them had made it and I thought for sure that it was going to be the 3rd one that I had chosen Megan but it was Kris.

Not that I don’t like Kris’s singing but I just think that there are some other very good singers who deserved to be in the top 12 more than him. So we are now have half of our top 12. The final group of 12 will perform next Tuesday night and Wednesday will be the cut. Then on Thursday we will find out who the judges brought back for the wild card round and they will have one last chance to impress the judges before they pick the last 3.

Last night’s 3 Chosen:

   Well tonight was the second round of 12 singers to perform and it was definitely the ladies night. I was blown away by a few of the girls, Megan Corkrey, Mishavonna Henson and Allison Iraheta. Allison sang Alone by Heart and stole the show with her rendition. Megan and Mishavonna have great voices and sang very well too. There was only one guy who I thought sang well and that was Adam Lambert, he sang The Stones hit Satisfaction and was amazing.

There were a couple others that were pretty good but I don’t think they will make it into the top 12. My choices for the 3 who will make the cut tomorrow are without a doubt for the girls Allison, and Adam is my male choice, the 3rd one is tough I am pretty sure it will be another girl and my choice is Megan. We will just have to see how it plays out tomorrow night.

My 3 Choices:

   Well we now have our first 3 singers of our top 12. Last night’s show was a little shocking in the fact that Michael Sarver made it through. Alexis Grace and Danny Gokey were the other two in which I was almost positive anyway that they would be. It came down to Anoop Dasai and Michael Sarver and I thought for sure that Anoop would be the one who made it. Very disappointed when then announced Michael.

Hopefully Anoop will be brought back in the wild card round in a few weeks. I didn’t really like Michael’s singing but I guess his background story carried him in the fact that he is a real likable guy. I just hope that this year the rest of the competition does not go the same way as a popularity and likabitlity contest but that viewers vote on the people that can truly sing well.

The next group of 12 will sing next Wednesday night and Thursday will be the cut.

Our First 3 Chosen

Last night’s show was the start of the top 36 singing for the viewers votes. The 36 were broken down into 3 groups of 12 and the first group performed last night. The first one to start the night off was Jackie Tohn and I thought she was horrible, I really hope that she doesn’t make it through. The next one to perform was Ricky Braddy and he was absolutely awesome, I don’t remember him from the auditions or Hollywood week but man that boy can sing! One of my favorites since his audition has been Anoop Desai and last night’s performance was a little bit of a let down for me, I don’t think he was on the top of his game and I am really hoping that it didn’t blow his chance of getting into the top 12.

There were 2 that really stood out last night and that was Alexis Grace and Danny Gokey they were phenominal and I am thinking that those are going to be 2 of the 3 that make tonight’s cut. If you didn’t already know, tonight’s show they are putting through the top girl and top guy and then the one who received the highest votes after them so it could be either a guy or a girl. Besides Alexis and Danny I would have to make Anoop my next pick but if he doesn’t make it maybe one of the judges will bring him back for the wild card round.

Two of last night’s performances that really stunk in my opinion were Stevie Wright and Stephen Fowler, I don’t think they have a slim chance in hell of making it through. Tatiana surprised me last night (she is the annoying one that I don’t like) with a Whitney Houston song. I thought she did an okay job but I am still hoping that she doesn’t get into the top 12.

Can’t miss tonight the first 3 of our top 12 revealed!

My hopefuls:

     Last night’s show the 3 remaining woman, Jillian, Molly and Melissa got to go to New Zealand for their overnight dates with Jason. All of them seemed to go very well. Molly and Melissa confessed that they were falling in love with him to Jason and Jillian in a round about way stated she wanted a best friend. Needless to say that after Jason and Jillian’s date which seemed to go great, Jason ended up sending her home. I was not surprised to say the least, I really didn’t think that Jillian was right for him anyway.

So now it’s down to Molly and Melissa (my choice). Next week’s show will be the reunion of all the women in the bachelor tells all and then the exciting finale will be the following week in which the 2 women will get to finally meet Ty and Jason’s parents.  Then we will see who Jason is going to propose to.  There will be a little twist in the final show. The previews showed Deanna showing up and telling Jason that she made a mistake, I guess meaning that she picked the wrong guy and begging him to be with her. Anyhow I think it will be a very interesting show with lots of drama. If Jason decides to be with Deanna I will be very upset, she had her chance and I would feel so sorry for Molly and Melissa.

American Idol Update:

Joanna Pacitti has been kicked off the show, she is the one that I wrote about in a previous article telling of her past career in the business and that I didn’t think it was fair for her to make it through to the top 36. Well maybe enough people complained about the same thing as me because they took her off. Good I was glad to hear this news. Tonight starts off the first group of 12 singers for the viewers to vote on. Wednesday’s night show 9 of them will be eliminated! Can’t wait will post tomorrow on my favorites!
