Christina Talks

 Well the 8th season of American Idol kicked off tonight. They now have a new judge Kara DioGuardi to sit in with Randy, Paula and Simon. This used to be my favorite show but as the years go by the show keeps getting worse in the fact of more and more really good talent has prematurely gotten the boot and Paula keeps getting more and more annoying. I am still going to watch it for the fact that I like Simon, he is what makes the show. He is not afraid to be honest and tell it like it is, unlike the kissy ass Paula who can never say anything bad about anyone.

Some really great talent has come from this show and Simon was dead on when he said to Carrie Underwood in the 4th season that he predicted that she would sell more records than any other idol.

Anyway the shows auditions tonight were in Phoenix Arizona and 27 walk away with golden tickets to Hollywood. A couple of highlights of tonight’s auditions would be a girl who actually came wearing a bikini and I thought she was a really good singer (she got a ticket), and also the last audition was a blind guy who is very talented. When he walked out of the room with his ticket Ryan Seacrest approached him and threw up his hand to give him a high five, but the blind guy just stood there…..lol  It was pretty funny!

I will be posting updates all through the show and I will give you my predictions after they get down to the top 10.
