Dancing With The Stars News

Well it’s getting close to the 8th season opener of Dancing With The Stars which will begin on March 9th. I am really excited to find out what celebrities will be on the show. I know I am impatient, but this is truly my favorite show. I can let you all in on a little secret, I found out the name of one celebrity who will be dancing for the famous mirror ball trophy. It is the one and only Donny Osmond, the brother of Marie Osmond who was on the 5th season with Helio Castraneves the cute little race car driver who won. The 5th season was a very memoriable year in which Marie Osmond passed out on live tv after one of her performances.

Donny Osmond who is 51 years old is currently playing at the Flamingo Hotel in Las Vegas doing a variety show with his sister Marie similar of their 70’s tv show. He will be juggling between that and the Dancing with The Stars show at the same time and admits that it will be very difficult for him.

Without even knowing the rest of the stars I predict that Donny Osmond will not win but that he will probably make it through at least few weeks. I don’t know who is professional dance partner will be but I will make a guess and say either Cheryl Burke or maybe Kym Johnson. Poor Edyta Sliwinska she always ends up with the losers, I would like to see her win it one season. She is the only professional dancer who has been on every season thus far.

Well that’s all for now, more info as it becomes available.

Hell’s Kitchen Season Opener

Last night’s show was the start in my opinion of a great season to come. The show started off with the 16 contestants making their signature dishes and surprisingly Chef Ramsey liked quite a few of them mostly the women’s. They then were told they would be split into 2 teams, the men versus the woman.

After spending the night studying Chef Ramsey’s menu the teams prepare for the first opening of the restaurant. Right off the bat, Lacey from the woman’s team gets so frustrated because she had no experience in line cooking and didn’t know what she was doing so decided she was going to quit. After going back to the room and thinking things through she returned to the kitchen.

When it came time to open the restaurant Gordon announced that 1 person from each team will be serving. He chose Carol the sous chef from TN and Giovanni the executive chef from FL. As the orders starting coming in and making there way to the line for Chef Ramsey to approve, mistake after mistake was found. Colleen the cooking school instructor from NE couldn’t recognize the difference between sugar and salt and added sugar to one of the recipes, the guys didn’t know how to cook spaghetti and Danny the executive chef from FL decided to talk back to Chef Ramsey (big mistake). Needless to say that no dishes made it to the dinning room, to make matters even worse all the electric went out in the restaurant. After about 20 minutes they came back on and since no entrees were good enough to serve Chef Ramsey shuts down the kitchen.

Chef Ramsey has to decide a winning team and because Carol had better customer service then Giovanni he picked the red team as the winners. The men’s team had to choose 2 people up for elimination and decided on Wil (who is gay) the quality control chef from IL and Seth a private party chef from NY. After hearing their final plea’s Chef Ramsey decides to send Wil home.

I really enjoyed last night’s show which was filled with lots of gagging on dishes and bleeping from Gordon as usual. I am excited about this season and looking forward to next week’s show.

Lost: Jughead

Last night’s show started off in the past with Desmond trying to find a doctor for Penny because she was giving birth to their son. Then it jumps back to present day and Desmond needs to go and find Daniel Faraday’s mother, why is still a mystery to me. Here is where I really get confused, when Desmond went to house of someone who supposedly worked with Daniel and is now in and out of different time periods and he finds out that Charles Widmore is the one paying for her care and that he is the one who funded Daniel’s research, (WHAT???)

Also in last night’s episode we found out that Daniel is in love with Charlotte who appears to be dying and that Charles Widmore is was one of the Other’s. Still so many questions unanswered. Who is this girl Ellie that Faraday said looked familiar to him? What exactly was the Dharma initiative doing on the island, did it have something to do with the bomb? What does Faraday’s mother have to do with anything and does Desmond know her? Is Desmond and Penny’s relationship going to be able to hold up or is it doomed? So many more questions!

Please, I value anyone’s opinion on this show and would love to hear your comments.

House (Monday Night’s Show)

Tonight’s episode of house was about a woman who is a special education teacher who coughs up blood and passes out in her class. Cuddy decides to stay home with her baby and puts Cameron in charge and Forman has to make a decision on whether or not to change Thirteen’s trial meds.

As usual House had his crude remarks throughout the show but we also got to see a caring and somewhat sympathetic side to him tonight when Forman asked for his advice concerning the clinical trials with Thirteen. I actually like that scene and I think that each episode he should portray some caring moments even though that it is his uncaring harsh ways that makes House what he is and what makes the show entertaining.

I am wondering though what happened with the connection and sparks that House and Cuddy had? It was non exsistent in this episode and I think it is something that they should of explored further. Maybe they will pick that back up in a future episode.

I was surprised at Forman and Thirteen’s realtionship, now they are dating and all at once Forman is willing to risk his medical career to try and save her. They should have explored more into their relationship. Also it surprised me that Cuddy would have issues in trying to bond with her baby. Wilson was so caring to her and I think maybe those two should have an affair.

All in all very good episode, next week’s preview looks like it will be a good one too!

The Bachelor

Last night on the bachelor Jason had 1 group date, a one on one and a date with two girls at once. To decide who got the one on one date with him the girls had to write a love song and sing it to Jason. Molly was the winner with a really corny song having to do with fast food. For their date they went to Jason’s house. They had dinner and then slept outside in a tent for the night.

For the group date Jason and the girls got to go on the set of General Hospital and film a kissing scene. After that they all went to a wrap party in which most of the girls were upset because of watching Jason kiss the other girls and stated that after seeing this that they now have true feelings for Jason.

The last date was for Stephanie and Nikki and Jason had to send one of them home tonight. He took them dancing and they learned how to waltz. Nikki finally opened up a little more and told Jason about her last relationship that she was in with her childhood sweetheart that lasted for 11 years, but I guess it was a little to late because Jason decided to send her home. Damn this was one of my pick’s!

At the rose ceremony, Megan, Lauren and Shannon were the ones to be sent home. I am glad that Shannon is gone she was to weird and like a stalker. Lauren thought that she was definitely going to be the one who marries Jason, she was so cocky and a control freak I am glad that she is gone too. Megan I was kind of surprised that Jason sent her home, I really did like her.

Well of the original 3 I picked to be the one Jason chooses in in the end I am down to 2 now with Stephanie and Melissa holding out. There are only 5 women left and next week’s show Jason is taking them all to his hometown.
